Despite it not yet having a huge self storage industry, there are several reasons for people needing self storage in Coventry.

Students often put their belongings in self storage during the summer holidays, and as Coventry contains two Universities it has a lot of students. Coventry University and the University of Warwick have over 41,000 students between them, many international, potentially giving self storage in Coventry a seasonal summer boost.

This is part of a national franchise brand run by the entrepreneur Paul Delo, which has brought self storage facilities across the country under one banner.

Extra Room Self Storage is located outside the main city in Nuneaton. Prices available online suggest that self storage in Coventry is much cheaper than London self storage. Extra Room Self Storage charge £148 per year for 100 square feet, which works out at £17.76 per square foot each year – far less than the £25 per square foot each year which is often charged in London.

Finally, Storage World Self Storage is another independent, located to the east of Coventry itself in Rugby. They claim to be the largest facility offering self storage in Coventry and the whole of Warwickshire, and are unusual for allowing customers unrestricted 24-hour access to their units.

   It is the same strategy that we used in other smaller cities and got excellent results specially in cities where 2 or more universities are located and or a 1 big one like Oxford or Cambridge. In these cities we got half of our business from students. Nice post by the way.
