National Declutter Week
National Declutter Week is back! This year it will take place from
Wednesday 7 March to Sunday 18 March 2012
Yes, you’ve spotted it: that’s more than week. That is because we want to give you two full weekends to devote to decluttering your life!
Anyone can join in. Just declutter your home or your office and you will be taking part!
But this year we also have a special focus, We want to make National Declutter Week work for charity shops, and in particular for hospice charity shops.
In this regard, we are really hoping that self storage facilities can lend a hand as well. In the past, a number of self storage facilities have done fantastic work in supporting charity shops by offering spare space for stock. (Read our blog about the experience of U store depot in Northern Ireland, which has been working with the Foyle Hospice for three years.)
In National Declutter Week 2012 we are hoping to send a huge amount of clutter in the direction of hospice charity shops – more than they can handle!
So maybe their local self storage facility could step.
No pressure. It’s just and idea. But it could work fantastically well.
A virtuous triangle: homeowners – hospice charity shop – self storage.
